It’s increasingly popular to document every part of your day on social media. To post in “stories” every time you have a cup of coffee or “check-in” when you go to a specific event or place, right? It sounded like a giant rubber band breaking. That was my Achilles ripping apart. And there goes my year of training towards being a ninja and an Elite Spartan Racer. Two years of eating healthier, getting active and improving my lifestyle just hit a brick wall. On March 20, Warrior Tech OCR opened its doors to the public. On the evening of March 23, Warrior Tech closed its ninja doors to me to train.

Last October, I set a goal for myself. I wanted to qualify for and compete in the OCR World Championships. At the time, it seemed daunting. What was I getting myself into?
Well, a year passed, and I did it. Myself, Coach Cody and Steven Kyle (one of our members) traveled to Canada and kicked that race’s butt.
Then, I came back home and found myself thinking…now what?
