This is the magic pixie dust we all think is going to come floating into our lives when we start a workout program or begin meal prepping to keep us on track. Whether we’re recommitting to fitness or brand new to it, this is the sought-after and seemingly elusive catalyst we all wait for to keep us going. We look at people in better shape and wonder how they never seem to skip a workout, how they stay so inspired all the time.

“SNAP!”

It sounded like a giant rubber band breaking. That was my Achilles ripping apart. And there goes my year of training towards being a ninja and an Elite Spartan Racer. Two years of eating healthier, getting active and improving my lifestyle just hit a brick wall. On March 20, Warrior Tech OCR opened its doors to the public. On the evening of March 23, Warrior Tech closed its ninja doors to me to train.

Soft Anniversary

Wow… exactly one year ago, Warrior Tech OCR opened its doors! We always tell our members to celebrate all the victories big and small. It could be doing a pull up, losing a single pound and/or not eating that donut; regardless, it should be celebrated and you should feel proud. A year ago, we struggled to get our doors open. Obstacles install delays; loans; certificates of occupancy. You name it–it happened, but the goal was to open our doors. And we did it! There is nothing like being hit with an obstacle and finding a way through it.

This Ninja Stuff is Hard

I hear that a lot when people come in for open rig and play on our rig. Ninja stuff is unlike any other sport. It’s demanding on the upper body and very exhausting. Most new people always note how tired they are after their first run through of the rig. A lot of people look at the obstacles we have and say “There’s no way I can do that”. And I always say “Not with that attitude”. And then they roll their eyes and stop talking to me.
